2019 Buccaneer Bash
GLENDIVE, MONT. – March 1, 2019 – The Dawson College Foundation is hosting the Annual Buccaneer Bash on Saturday, March 30 at 5:30 p.m. in DCC’s Toepke Center. Proceeds from the Buccaneer Bash support the Annual Scholarship Fund, which provides academic scholarships and support for additional needs of the College.
Bash attendees will enjoy an evening of games, food, and fun. The event will begin at 5:30, and heavy hors d‘oeuvres will be served throughout the evening. There will be carnival-type games where participants can earn pirate coins to use for entry into a main group game with a chance to win cash prizes and an opportunity to bid on a special item. Silent and live auctions will take place during the event. A no-host bar will be available.
“We are excited about the opportunity to spend time with our constituents, friends, family, and folks who support Dawson Community College,” said Dennis Harp, Dawson College Foundation Executive Director. “Early table sales and individual ticket sales have exceeded expectations and we look forward to a wonderful evening. We are grateful for our title sponsors, table sponsors, auction items donated, and individual ticket sales.”
Some of the items guests can bid on include a Bobcat football weekend for two hosted by former Montana State University basketball coach Stu Starner and his wife Barb; tickets to a Louisiana State University basketball game, seated with legendary coach Dale Brown; a Liberty John Deere Gun Safe with mystery rifle inside; a two-night stay at Wolf Creek Cabin in Wolf Creek, Montana; and a bronze eagle sculpture donated by local artist Pamela Harr.

Sponsorship packages for the Annual Buccaneer Bash are still available. Table sponsorships are $400 and include eight tickets to the Bash, the sponsor’s sign on the table, and logo on the Foundation’s website. Individuals may purchase tickets to the Bash for $50. Interested organizations and individuals may also provide support by becoming a Bash sponsor.
